The Committee on Veterans Affairs and Homeland Security moved to amend the bill on page three, section five, beginning on line forty-two, by striking out subsection “(f)” in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof a new subsection “(f)” to read as follows:

“(f) On or before July 1, 2016, the secretary shall designate one Purple Heart parking space in Lot Eight for use by recipients of the Purple Heart Medal with a Purple Heart license plate.  The parking space shall be located as closely as possible to the West Virginia Culture Center and must have a sign in front of or adjacent to the parking space designating the parking space as “Purple Heart License Plate Parking Only.”  The secretary shall enforce a fine against the owner of any vehicle parked in the Purple Heart parking space that does not have a Purple Heart license plate.”
